Go-Pher-lt!! Things are really coming together this year with the help of my efficient office assistants. Without their help doing odd jobs and running errands, I would never have time to com- plete my work. I am very pleased to have such hard-working assistants to help me. Working hard. Getting in the Act Producing a senior play, a past tradition of Coe-Brown Academy’s graduating class, has been revived by the Class of ’81 in the form of a three-act comedy called ‘Backwoods Romeo.’ Difficulties in reinstating old traditions exist everywhere, and the Senior Play was no excep- tion. However, a permanent cast was formed, and Director Heather Thurber, and Stage Manager Marty Blood could see that it was finally coming together. The cast, consisting of seven seniors and seven underclassmen, worked hard to make the play a success. These students, Gary Colby, Sue Trevorrow, Robert Witham, Melinda Josiah, Dagne Dimes, Caroline Bates, Heather Thurber, Rick Gates, David Thurber, Debbie Robinson, Heidi Thurber, Shirley Bernier, Karen Durkan, and Kathy Jock had the stamina to keep going. But just when they were sure they’d hit the top, they would look down and see the bottom a few feet away. Special thanks goes to Mr. Bruce Farr who built the set. Mrs. Phyllis Dupuis for her con- stant support and generosity, and Mr. David Smith for his pa- tience and encouragement. We hope that through our ef- forts graduating classes suc- ceeding the Class of '81 will follow our lead and keep a lost tradition’ alive. Top Row: Mrs. Dupuis. Connie Blood, Gary Colby.
