THE SEVENTY SIXERS I wonder What was high school like, one hundred years ago? And if the students liked to dance, or see a porno show? I wonder if they ever went to see a hockey game, or if the school house they had, then and now were just the same? If mini skirts were ever worn by, Maidens in their teens? If boys were ever seen in class, dressed in their old blue jeans? But I have read my history, and know these things, could never be. They couldn’t call each other up, upon the telephone They couldn't even have a date. Without a chaperone. Boys never had a chance to go, to Koebles for a coke, Girls were considered horrid, if they ever learned to smoke. But what amazed me most I found, in that same history book, was that the students of eighteen seventy six, were wearing our new look.

'I v Miss Nancy J. Sanborn DEDICATION We, the 1976 Graduating Class of Coe-Brown dedicate our Yearbook to Miss Nancy Sanborn. For those who have had Miss Sanborn as a teacher, it is a well known fact that efficiency is her key word. Everything has to be done in the most efficient manner, and within the walls of her classroom that is how things are done. One of Miss Sanborn’s invaluable traits is that we always know where we stand with her. There is no guessing involved. At all times you know whether you have done well or not. In this day and age of lower morals and standards. Miss Sanborn still demands high quality of student out-put and respect for teachers and peers alike. Miss Sanborn is a very capable instructor. When you have completed an assignment and she compliments it, you the student feel a definite feeling of pride and total accomplishment. This book, the Comanche, the one we love the best, would not be here without the aid of Miss Sanborn. Without her patience, time and immense effort, we would never have such a highly finished product. So, for her efficient abilities and huge reservoir of patience and strength, we proudly dedicate this book to Miss Nancy J. Sanborn. From the class of 76 a special thank-you and may happiness be with you always. n 2
