When Fall comes in, the girls go out-for field hockey. They cut quite a figure on the field in their green and gray uniforms. The '54 fall season was a disappointing one for the girls as they lost three games and tied two. Cody girls played their first basketball game of League com- petition this year against Red- ford. Miss Margaret Shopkin, the coach, was pleased with the way her girls handled the ball in all the four games played. Modern Dance classes, under the direction of Miss Mary Wall, have helped the girls of Cody to attain grace and agility. They have also learned how to create dances to all types of music. They gave a unique perform- ance demonstrating their tech- nique at the U. of D. and Cody basketball game. The theme of the choreography was How to Make the Varsity Basketball Team.
