Meeting some of the hardest high school competition in Detroit, Cody's Comets did fairly well. Captain Bill Knechtges, Owen Pelham, and senior Tom Kaznecki were the high point scorers for Cody this past season. The Comets won two meets and lost live. One particularly tight meet was lost to Southwestern. The final score was 46 to 45 - just one point from victory for our Codyites. During that meet, the Comets set new pool records in the fifty and one hundred yard free style relays. They should set and break more records next year as the team will be kept nearly intact.
