Cody s Firsf Senior Play OU R TOWN S S jx PX ti 5 Q Our Town was an appealing play about life, love, and death in a small town. Our Hrst play was presented under the direction of Mr. Frank Ross. One of its charming features was that it was performed without scenery OI' PYOPS. O Emily wanted to back out, but Father Webb reassured her, and the wedding went on. The undertake: and Emily's city cousin minisced about the dearly departed. The quick and the dead are brought together for a curtain call after a commendable performance. Jeannie worries about her role as Victoria The maid has no doubts about G1nger's role as halfback. YVhen Howard Carol issues an eman- cipation proclamation for the students of the town high school, he starts a furor that extends nation wide. Two of his daughters want to quit gym, while his third daughter, Ginger, wants to go out for the football team. Against the wishes of her family and the principal of the high school, she tries out - and makes the team! The resultant confusion made the spring play a delightful comic inter- lude.
