SUPERI T ENDENT 'S MESSAGE You are to be congratulated for putting out this very fine annual. It is indeed a tribute to the talents, and ambition you have fostered throughout your high school life. This 1958 Bronc displays the school spirit of Cody High, I want to commend you for dedicating the annual to Mrs, Max Thompson. Your actions manifest a genuine feeling of personal service and interest she has given to the students of Cody High School. Mrs. Thompson, in the true tradition of an outstanding teacher, has shared closely in your school life. She has inspired confidence, instructed with patience and skill, and in many ways helped you gain a firm foundation in the basic knowledge you will find so valuable in later years, Through honoring her l feel you are expressing your appreciation and thanks to the many fine teachers who have contributed to and influenced your lives for the better, Glenn E. Livingston .5 'Q PRINCIPAUS MESSAGE in . Two courses ofevents have influenced the life of Cody High School as an educational institution during the past year. They are a tremen- dous reawakening of interest in serious scholarship as the prime reason for the existence of our school and the completion of the housing program - the result of years of planning and dreaming on the part of citizens, faculty, and the students, I believe our student body has responded to this challenge of realizing that social and recreational activities will have to be subordinated in favor of the serious business of preparing for citizenship in our democracy. My best wishes go out to the Class of 1958 as they now begin to meet the challenges of life in their chosen vocations or seek further preparation in the institutions of higher learning in our nation Harold M .
