The one thought only of him- self and of ways in which others could serve him, the other thought only of others and ways of serving them. Lord Lister discovered the uses of antiseptics. By keeping the discovery secret he might have made millionsg but he gave his discovery to the world, and it is the great factor today in saving life and eradicating disease.
