Y! 'Y I Q To you, the members of the graduating class of l956, I congratulate you on your achievement. Edwin Markham once wrote- Ah, great it is to believe the dream As we stand in youth by the starry stream, But a greater thing is to fight life through, And say at the end, The dream is true'. So your achievement at this graduation time is a stepping stone in the climb through life to success and happiness. May you ever be mind- ful that all good and worth while things in life can be found through hard work. My best wishes go with you. C. L. Axtell Supervising Principal I wish to express to the members of the Yearbook Staff, the Senior Class, and Mr. Jones my thanks and congratulations in the publication of another Yearbook. I have watched with interest and with pride the manner in which the many people involved did their best from day to day to bring this book from the world of ideas to a printed reality. It is my greatest wish that all of you may carry with you a feeling of love and warmth toward the school and faculty. I believe the publi- cation of such a book will help to engender that feeling of love and loyalty. As you read through these pages in the years to come, may you always remember that it was a wonderful privilege and experience for me to serve as your principal. 0 0 I rffzea cant Salad Zawwl .
