The Senior Tri-Hi-Y Cluh meets activity period on llluesday, with Miss lirock as the advisor. The cluh's first activity of the year was packing, decorating, and delivering Christmas haskets. This iro'ect was sionsored hv the l l , Community Chest. Last summer Donna Armour and Claire llauer went to Cleveland to a convention of the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y Cluhs for young people from all over the world. Audrey Wheeling went to the Olficer's 'liaining Camp at Grove City. The girls who made these trips gave very interesting and informa- tive talks ahout their trips to the other mem- hers of the eluh. After each meeting, they took tip the pro- iect of painting figurines. From this they learned much ahotit hlending paints for new color schemes. ln April the girls went out to dinner and then to the movie, Singing in the Rain. Their mothers were entertained at the an- nual Mother and Daughter Banquet with a delicious tureen dinner. After dinner the girls presented a very entertaining program for their mothers. To earn money to go for a weekend to Canadota Lake, they had a taffy sale and many fudge sales. Everyone is looking for- ward to a wonderful time swimming. skat- ing, and horsehack riding. As the year draws to a close, the Tri-Hi-Y Club is looking forward to many years as successful as this year has heen.
