SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Freshman Presldent Rlchard McCarl Vlce Presldent Ann Moyer Secretary Norma Ewmg Treasurer Mary Gregory ln l942 our class was started wlth seventy two green freshles Mr Spence was our home room teacher and Mr R A Moon our prlnclpal The mam event of the year for our class vsas a plcmc held at Feldmxller s Beach wrth Mr Helsel m charge An excltlng day was spent wlth Mr Helsel catchmg no flSh The year soon rolled by and we were glad of It because we would no longer be consldered as green freshxe s Sophomore Presxdent Rnchard Hart Vice Presldent Ann Moyer Secretary Patrlcla McDaniel Treasurer Mary Gregory School reopened ID September but our class wasnt as large as lt was when we were Freshmen Our one bug event of the year was Sophomore Day We all wore our class colors green and vellow and was served a dellclous lunch as lsalys The day endeo wlth havmg a Llttle Abner Hop Our class was the flrst class to recexve thelr rlngs when they were Sophomores and we all felt pretty proud of It The year seemed to go fast because soon came flnal exams and another year had rolled by Junior Presndent ames Freymuth Vlce Presldent Samuel Derugen Secretary Dorls Randall Treasurer Mary Gregory Ah at last we are upper classmen and we were lucky enough to get Mnss Brock the swell new faculty member for a home room teacher Not all of us had her because some had to go down to room I2 but they were honored by havmg Miss Donaldson Our big event of the year was unlor Fun Nlght whlch went over bug Wllh both young and old We also sponsored a dancee wlth musxc furmshed by the Rythm Rascals M Helsel agaln honored our class by taking us on another pncnlc at Feld mlller Beach Everyone enjoyed lt even the unlucky guys that fell ln the creek The fmal event was the JUHIOI' Senlor Banquet and Prom held May I5 Thls ended our actxvltles for the year Agam we put away our books for the summer vacatlon .
