Jim Schmidgall Karen Dobbs, member of the Christian Workshop, replied when questioned about how she felt about the Jesus People's philosophy, It's not how you worship, but who you worship. I agree with their way of think- ing. The importance should not be placed on the form of worship one chooses, but whether he wor- ships at all and has a belief in God. Asked what role the worship played in the Jesus movement, Karen stated, We're not really connected with the Jesus People movement or escapadef' She remarked, The philoso- phy of our group is in a sense that we are followers of Christ living a christian life. Also we should know how to counsel a person who is searching for Christ and show him where to find Him. Karen concluded, The Jesus movement is very good. lt gives the individual someone to ident- ify with. 67

Freedom of the press is vital in today's world. When Irene Smith, Helio- graph editor, was asked whether freedom of the press was practiced on the CC campus she responded, There's no censorship on anyone's part. We're allowed to print anything as long as it isn't libelous or in bad taste. She continued, This is what freedom of the press is about and we're allowed to tell it like it is. With underground newspapers so numerous, Irene was asked whether she thought there was room for one at CC. Yes, there is room for one. She continued, In prior years there have been various underground news- papers, but never has one attacked the school paper which is a good reflection on the Heliograph. It shows we're expressing the student's views.
