La Rosa Triste was written by drama instructor Max Wager as a reader's theater. It is to be applied towards a doctorate he is now earning. The reading was presented in the Little Theater and transported the audience into the Spanish society of a few centu- ries back. The realistic nature of the reading capti- vated an attentive audience. 17

On April 8, Inter-Club Council sponsored Las Ve- gas Night in the cafeteria. During the evening stu- dents roamed from table to table, each run by a dif- ferent club. After all the tables were closed down the Sly, Slick and Wicked continued to play for the dance that lasted until 1:30 the next morning. As usual, the evening was exciting and proceeds went towards the upcoming Apache Day. 19
