Senior class flower. At Cocalico life revolves around thc dif- ferent aspects ol' education. We all view thc classroom as the center ol learning, but classes likeart, music or typing de- velop our special talents While animpor- tant pa rt ol' the curriculum is the devel- opment of physical abilities in an athletic program. To us, the most important part ol' school lite is being with friends and gradually learning to accept others' feelings. However. we cannot forget another major aspect ol education-eour teachers. Thus, classes. athletics. friends, and teachers form the core ol Cocalico. L 4 6 r 1 , j,'A,,,,, ,V .raw ,. in wywii ' 1 1114- if, ' f . .3 at It . 4 5,2 . ' ,J f1.+ J' : 1 - f. We are often privi- leged to help in a learning situation when student teachers are assigned to Co- calico. lt is through our education at Co- calico thatwe are able to establish goals for ourselves in alldirections as we pur- sue our chosen course after graduation. ,LX x ,XX xx if L X L BOTTOM ROW: R. Although they en- countered different surroundings, unfamiliar teachers. and challenging new courses they ad- justed quickly. When they had settled into the 1967-68 schoolyear they began to make plans for their first fund-raising project--selling pens. During basketball season. they decided to sell refreshments ut junior high school games. With these successful projects behind them. they are looking into the future in search ol' more challeng- ing projects. They were bound to be 3 success this year due to the excellent leadership offered by theirofficers: Doug Firestone. presidentg Sid- ney Walmer. vice-president: Pat Leid, secretary- treusurer: und their class advisor, Mr. john Rice. li.
