Administration and Faculty Dr. Robert Smith, our Supervising Principal, Mr. Homer Weaver, our high school principal, and Mr. Kenneth Flinchbaugh, our junior high school principal participated in many annual ac- tivities. Besides their usual administrative duties, they attended many professional meetings of regional, state, and national importance. Mr. Weaver also attended the National Principal's Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. The faculty members of Cocalico Union have unselfishly divided their time between regular school classes and extracurricular activities. For the F.T.A. Assembly, several of the teachers formeda Faculty Band to entertain the student body. An annual student-faculty basketball game promoted good sportsmanship among the students and the faculty. To encourage better parent- teacher relationships, a new project of Back To School Night was established. The Cocalico Union teachers also observed American Education Week, Teachers' Institutes, and an annual Faculty Picnic. 7

,auf 3:1 , . .,.. . f A... ,,..,. . Mg ,.. .,k. W To the Class of 1966: Now that your public schooling is coming to a close, you might ask yourselves if you are better today than you were yesterday. Did you keep the faith which was given by your parents, teachers, and forefathers who have striven so nobly to preserve this heritage or did you allow it to be pushed aside by temptations that are ever present? Your very existence demands that each of you carry your fair share of duty to your neighbor, to your country, and to God. Let each of you put forth that extra effort to uphold the faith of your elders for the sake of a better world. Every day, ask for the strength to meet the chal- lenges of life, and to love thy Neighbor as thy self. Best wishes for the future. Homer P. Weaver Senior High Principal 9
