0149 60014 As our six years at Cocalico Union are coming to a definite end, we already begin to look back through those knowledge and fun-filled years, remembering all the things we've accomplished and all the things we would have liked to accomplish. Although we, the class of '64, will always remember C.U. as the corner- stone of our youth, we're all looking forward to a bright and prosperous future as loyal citizens of our great democracy.

The Senior Class of Cocalico Union High School dedicates the 1964 KO Ko Le Ko to- Youth of Today-Citizens of Tomorrow. Youth of today-citizens of tomorrow, these six words by implication alone include not only school students but embraces the entire youth of our country. The destiny of this vast portion of the population is tied irrevocably to the destiny of our nation. The mediocrity or greatness, success or failure of each, go hand in hand. About to take an important step toward adulthood and forced by the process to increase the procedure of reasoning for ourselves, we are not the completely fun-loving, carefree juvenile society advertises us to be. Tomorrow promises much, but what we do with it depends solely on the tangibility of our dreams. Assuming the role of citizen with its myriad responsibilities as well as its privileges, we must try to understand a society molded by the ideals of people difficult to understand or appreciate. To comprehend and fulfill our debt to this society, we must attempt to find ourselves and regulate our destiny by broadening our outlooks and maintaining faith in God, in mankind, and in this great country. The requirements are many, butwe can meet them because we are young, and willing to try. 6
