The class of 1963 of Cocalico Union High School will have many memories of their secondary school experience and l'm sure that most of them will be pleasant. You are to be commended on the selection of your motto World Peace for at no time in history has this topic been more important. The very existence of humanity is balanced on the problem of existence with those who differ. You have had some experience in getting along or living with others, and thus have become a more mature, responsible member of a free society. Military genius may save the nation from conquest by agressors from without. Only education can lead our people to understand and thus appreciate the American Democratic Way, and only through understanding and appreciation comes the will to preserve and foster it. To the extent that your education has nurtured in you this will and ability to live fully and democratically it has prepared you to meet this challenge. May you, with the help of God find yourselves prepared to meet it courageously and successfully, and with the same vi or g - ous activity which has been characteristic of you in your school life.
