ft? 195 9 ' Supervising Priuczjnzl Za the cflass of 7959 We live in a complex and highly competitive civilization Where every boy and girl owes it to himself or herself and to their community and country to pre- pare themselves to the limit of their capabilities to meet the demands and to take advantage of the opportunities which the future holds. A high school diploma is the basic requirement for any- one who hopes for advancement in in- dustry, who anticipates entering the pro- fessions, or who is concerned with a fuller understanding of national and international affairs so that America can maintain its position of leadership in a world which is threatened by corn- munistic threats and ideologies. I congratulate you on your present accomplishments and trust that you have acquired both the will and the determination to continue your educa- tional pursuits beyond the high school level. John P. Krick.
