We are proud of you, members of the class of '59, for the many ways in which you have brought honor to our school, academically and athletically, not only in winning championships but in showing good sportsmanship. Now we know you will bring honor to our school in your chosen careers whether they be in industry, in the armed service of our country or in higher ed- ucation. Your every success will be reflected here in your Alma Mater. We be- lieve you have been well equipped to meet the challenges of life. We are wrestling in this country with the greatest problems that ever confronted any nation - incligftrial problems, political problems, social problems and fundamental moral pro ems. It will now be your lot to move into this life, realizing that privilege means responsibility, using every gift you possess for the good of your country and the welfare of your fellowman.
