In the fall of l938, Charles Albert Stolsig, Darlene Mavis Gustafson, and Patricia Anne Swangg, with the com-C pany of numerous others, who have since drifted to other ranges, started the long journey to Education. At the beginning of the fourth year, Louis Wilber Worley galloped in from Hood River, Oregon, to Join our caravan. Our next addition, in the middle of the fifth grade, was June Marie Bedortha, hailing from Willakenzie, Oregon. Soon after that, Mar- jorie Anne Jones deserted River Road, Oregon?-to ac- company us. Robert Russell Snyder stormed in from Veneta, Oregon, at the beginning of our sixth year. In our freshman year in high school, Donna Lee Andrews waltzed in from Glendale, California, and Boy William Young stalked in from Eugene, Oregon, to increase the permanent number of our little mule train to nine. On one of the last laps of our jour- ney, Shirley Dione Crook whirled in from Conrad Mon- tana, and Rose Marie Farmer loped in from Los Angeles, California, to join us. Our last addition in the mid- dle of our junior year was Verna Beatrice Branson, slipping in from Viasilias, California. l Thus, our caravan, which now totals twelve, has completed the second lap of our journey to Education. Some of us will continue to blaze and trail to learn- ing, while others will be content to unload their wagons on their own camping grounds.
