This was later changed to the powerful Wish- bone T. The opening game against Los Alamos was dropped to 17. T or C, Belen, and Los Lunas all fell to the Indians before a to tie against Lordsburg. Homecoming against Socorro and the big game against Silver City were both won. The closing games with Deming and Tularosa were both lost after hard hitting contests. 83

Silver City forfeited the last game which goes on the records 1 to 0. Led by Sophomore Quarterback Art Castanon the B-team used a combination of the powerful Wishbone T and the explosive Houston veer to keep opponents under pressure.
