DAR Award Given To Lori Ahrens The Daughters of American Revokition is a National organiza- tion dedicated to the ideals of patriotism. The DAR Good Citizen Contest is sponsored each year by the Jacob Bennett Chapter of the National Society of the DAR. The qualification are: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. DAR for 1972-73 is Lori Ahrens. Outstanding Teenagers is a national program held through out all the schools in the United States. The Teenagers are chosen on a basis of excellence in academic achieve- ment and community service. They are: Lori Ahrens, Kathye Bolger, Patty Fulmer, Evelyn Pena, and Sally Holland. Lori Ahrens is DAR Good Citizen for 1972-73 22 Outstanding Teenagers are Lori Ahrens, Kathye Bolger, Patty Fulmer, Evelyn Pena, and Sally Holland.

Rhonda Porter Is Most Outstanding Senior For Class Of 73 Most outstanding Senior for the 1972-73 year is llhonda Por- ter. Renee McSherry is the runner- up. They were chosen by a teacher ballot. The basic qualification for the most outstanding senior is membership in Who ' s Who. Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow is chosen of the basis of a score in a written knowledge and attitude examination. This test was taken by all senior airls on Decem- ber 5, 1972. This year ' s Betty Crocker Homemaker is Kathye Bolger. Most Outstanding Senior is Rhonda Porter. Runner up for Most Outstanding Senior is Renee McSherry. Kathye Bolger was chosen Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. 23
