Dawna Rivera Reigns As Choms Sweetheart 73 Mistress and Master of Ceremonies at the corona- tion were Patsy McGehee and Oscar Dominguez. The chorus court consisted of Aleena Tow, Peggy Benjamin, Viola Gavaldon, Thelma Mosely, Linda Anders, Tiny Echerivel, Dawna Rivera, Cynthia Hernandez, Dolores Morales, Carol Brubaker, and Velva Donaldson.

DAR Award Given To Lori Ahrens The Daughters of American Revokition is a National organiza- tion dedicated to the ideals of patriotism. The DAR Good Citizen Contest is sponsored each year by the Jacob Bennett Chapter of the National Society of the DAR. The qualification are: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. DAR for 1972-73 is Lori Ahrens. Outstanding Teenagers is a national program held through out all the schools in the United States. The Teenagers are chosen on a basis of excellence in academic achieve- ment and community service. They are: Lori Ahrens, Kathye Bolger, Patty Fulmer, Evelyn Pena, and Sally Holland. Lori Ahrens is DAR Good Citizen for 1972-73 22 Outstanding Teenagers are Lori Ahrens, Kathye Bolger, Patty Fulmer, Evelyn Pena, and Sally Holland.
