to the student, . high school will be the passing of a generation of ideas and concepts which give promise to the fu- ture; and studies which enhance the realities of today. Reflected within the student ' s life are the many moods surrounding school spirit; enthusiasm, achievement and pride. This is a generation of classes and causes, in which the student each day builds a new experience, with victories rising above defeats and thoughts going beyond words— Our campus is only buildings but our school is students. It is to this generation of students that the 1966 staff dedicates the COBRE CHIEFTAIN. One generation passeth away, and another gene- ration Cometh; but the earth abldeth forever . . . The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to the place where he arose . . . The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirl- eth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits . . .
