Band Participates In Sun Carnival The Cobre Indian Band participated in var- ious activities throughout the year. One of the first big events was the Western Nev Mex- ico University Homecoming Parade and game. The most important event was the band trip to El Paso on New Year ' s Day to perform in the Sun Parade, an opportunity offered every three years. Intermingled with these events were Cobre ' s own Homecoming and other home games.
