The Futura Chapter of the Future Secretaries association boasts twenty-four members this year. In order to be a member a student must be a business education student of unquestionable character and integrity and have evidenced a superior aptitude for, and an interest in, secretarial work. The purpose of the organization is to stimulate interest in and develop a better understanding of the potentials of a secretarial career. The club officers were Rosie Garza, president; Shirley Duncan, vice president; Gloria Alvidrez, secretary; Dolores Sandoval, treas- urer; and Orpha Silva, historian. This year ' s projects included the initiation, Christmas basket, talent show, workshop, tour of Kenne- cott, taffy and bake sale and a doll raffle.
