Tularosa Wildcats 45-0 At Cobre's Homecoming, the Indians stomped the Wildcats for their second win, Althougha few injuries ham- pered the Indians they moved the ball with ease in pushing across seven TD's to win the game. All Cobre backs scored in this game, but Herb Spangler was the only back to score two TD's and Jerry Herd made a 68 yard punt return, An unidentified Cobre player tackles a Tularosa player from behind as Dene Matthews, 52, and Gilbert Aguilera, 33, move up to assist 111 the play Gadsden Panthers 20-19 In a district game, Cobre came roaring from behind to down the panthers. This game was primarily a defensive game as both teams were held for very little yard- age throughout the game.
