4 ,,m,.f++ + ' A J dw Cf w Keith Coester - -Director Sharp red and white uniforms mark the Mem- bers of the band and fill many people's hearts, especially the students of Cobre High School, with pride at the sight of them. The Band performed at all home football games and participated in many other activities in the community. They also made out of town trips to perform at other places. As a result of the auditions held in Las Cruces last winter, four band members--D. C, Guisinger, Ralph Saenz, Rey Sanchez, and Bill Walker--were selected by the critics to represent us at the All-State Music Clinic in Albuquerque, as members of the All-State Band. As the end of the year drew to a close, The Band presented its annual spring concert, the music of which remained in our hearts long after- ward. AND A BAND TO SPUR THEM ON. . C,H,S, Band officers helped plan many of the trips and concerts in which the Band participated. Mr. Coester, director of the Band also did much in preparing them for these concerts.
