Kniskern, J. Knitfert, D, Coons, R. Ottman. The tennis team competed inter- scholastically for the second year and finished with a record of five wins and one loss. Unfortunately, with but two courts on which to practice many of the aspirants tell by the wayside. With the nucleus of good team coming back, next year should be another banner year. The function ofthe Intramural Board is to coordinate the athletic activities in which the non-varsity boys partici- pate. They arrange the schedules, tournaments, type of sport, and rules which govern the play. Their main ob- iective is to get every boy in a sport, and this year that aim was accom- plished. The Cobleskill Trackmen began the I954 season with a squad ot newly eligible candidates and returning lettermen. At the one dual and two triangular meets, our boys came out on top. The harriers failed to notch?-win during the season. Although on the losing end of the record, they showed a lot of hustle, determination, and improvement with a record of 3 second places out of 6 meets.
