It is composed of tive officers as well as representatives from each of the home- rooms of grades seven through twelve. The major obiectives of the Council are: l. to maintain high standards of school citizenship within the student body, 2. to provide an opportunity for student government through demo- cratic processes, 3. to pass legislatiion which will efafect the conduct of the students in certain areas of the school, 4. to coordinate the extra-cirricular activities ofthe school, and, 5. to create a better cooperative spirit between the students and the school administration. The Lamp was originally a mimeo- graph style paper, but it has grown steadily until this year it has become a printed, ten page record of the activ- ity of Cobleskill Central School.
