H Pi ii. I W ii. .sig ag, 'WW STEERING COMMITTEE ' STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, composed of four class officers from each class, met on the first Monday of each month. A steering committee consist- ing of one officer from each class, met every Friday morning to discuss plans for the following week and current student problems. Rules and reg- ulations were set up by the Student Council for dances, for the prizes for the goals in the magazine sales, and planned and decorated for the home- coming dance. A suggestion box was placed in the hall for new ideas. Movies were chosen by the group. Plans were made for the district basket- ball tournament. In other words, the Student Council had as its function doing everything to help our school, and to have as many as possible pupils participate in school activities. Q 2 . K-,- T ,.,
