AND HO Miss Elizabeth Johnson came to our school five years ago and has given her services unselfishly as a teacher, advisor, and a friend. We are grateful for her encouragement and enthusiasm. Through her friendly understanding and practi- cal helpfulness, she has made our work more enjoyable. We are showing some of the activities in which Miss Johnson has participated. H Pi ii. I W ii. .sig ag, 'WW STEERING COMMITTEE ' STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, composed of four class officers from each class, met on the first Monday of each month. A steering committee consist- ing of one officer from each class, met every Friday morning to discuss plans for the following week and current student problems. Rules and reg- ulations were set up by the Student Council for dances, for the prizes for the goals in the magazine sales, and planned and decorated for the home- coming dance. A suggestion box was placed in the hall for new ideas. Movies were chosen by the group. Plans were made for the district basket- ball tournament. In other words, the Student Council had as its function doing everything to help our school, and to have as many as possible pupils participate in school activities. Q 2 . K-,- T ,.,
