Jose Montenegro and Darlene Beverly enjoy lunch in Spadoni Park. April 20, 1985 marked the date for Coastal Carolina's first Open House. Organizers set aside this time to introduce Coastal to prospective freshmen and their parents. Slide show presenta- tions. guided tours, lunch, and entertainment kept everyone present busy the entire day. Early plan- ning and hard work on the part of faculty, staff and student guides together with the enthusiasm on the part of prospective students and their parents made for a successful event.
