The South Carolina Philharmonic Or- chestra performed at the Wheelwright Auditorium on November 27, 1984. Eina Anderson, a graduate of both Stanford and Harvard conducted the orchestra. Robert Pruzin, a faculty member at USC-Columbia, was the featured soloist. Sid Ceasar, a legend in the world of comedy, presented a special lecture at USC-Coastal Carolina on October 16, 1984. He discussed his television program, The Show of Shows, as well as the basics of comedy. He also gave a performance of a few of his most famous routines. af ,ibm On Valentine's Day, USC.-Coastal presented some of North Carolina's most gifted dancers and musicians. Chuck Davis used his N.C. ,heritage and much ex- perience with African, Caribbean, and American dance to create this exciting troupe.

Christmas Festivities A 'A ' 2' . Situated just off of Ocean Boulevard, the Landmark Hotel vibrated with the rocking beat of popular music on December 7, 1984. As couples entered the dimly-lit hall, the sounds of Inn-O- Vation' magically put them in the danc- ing mood. The Campus Union used their talents to transform the hotel ballroom into a glamorous setting for the annual Christmas dance. Free beer, wine, and hors d'oevers were served to keep the spirits high. As the activities came to a halt around 1 a.m., the students de- parting all agreed that the evening had been a great success! The music provided by Inn-O-Vation ' is-li' kept the partygoers merry. Campus Union members carefully checked student I.D.'s before admitting them. These students catch up on the latest gossip during the band's intermission.

The songs in Pocketful of Wry are everything from bright sophistication to unabashed sen- timentallity.
