Editha Beck and Steve Lawson show off Lilly Pond and Step 'N Style fashions. Wfmwfw aamm Show Some Style The Coastal Carolina Art Department, along with The Lilly Pond, Step 'N Style, Mi Lady and Formal Wear held a fashion show at 2001 to raise money for the school's club. Many of Coastal's students participated, and it was thought to be a big success. Coastal student and director Ioey McColluch worked diligently with the art students as well as the volunteer models to get the show off the ground. Neon Fashions, the baggy look as well as some breathtaking for- mal wear were featured. The stores were generous to provide door prizes and entertainment. It was a night to remember and thanks to the great art depart- ment the show was a big success. , I f ,f if ,fc , J 1 Ngo? Qqfyi zfivwzqa y d wa' .Q V? s ..,..- . + Wg'm Q W 1 ,Ns . Students mingle and discuss the upcoming school S6IT16St8I'. The Campus Union started the Fall 1984 semester off in style by sponsoring a Welcome Back dance for all students and faculty here at Coastal Carolina. They pro- vided fifty-cent draft and wine, along with other refreshments. The feature entertain- ment was Dance Limited, who provided a wide variety of music for everyone to enjoy. After a brief time and with some encourage- ment from the D.I., couples gradually made their way to the dance floor. As the sounds of Dance Limited filled the ballroom of the Landmark, everyone seemed to forget all but ther moment. Certainly, the Welcome Back Dance proved to be quite a success! fa -wr 1 .,- 7: i While taking a break from the evenings activities, these students become reacquainted with old friends.

Christmas Festivities A 'A ' 2' . Situated just off of Ocean Boulevard, the Landmark Hotel vibrated with the rocking beat of popular music on December 7, 1984. As couples entered the dimly-lit hall, the sounds of Inn-O- Vation' magically put them in the danc- ing mood. The Campus Union used their talents to transform the hotel ballroom into a glamorous setting for the annual Christmas dance. Free beer, wine, and hors d'oevers were served to keep the spirits high. As the activities came to a halt around 1 a.m., the students de- parting all agreed that the evening had been a great success! The music provided by Inn-O-Vation ' is-li' kept the partygoers merry. Campus Union members carefully checked student I.D.'s before admitting them. These students catch up on the latest gossip during the band's intermission.
