Beginning ' The place was Kimbel Gymnasium and the event was Graduation 1980. The date: Saturday, May 10, 1980. Speaker of the House Rex Carter addressed the May grad- uates as President Holderman and Chancellor Singleton awarded the degrees. There were 19 Associate Degrees in Technical Nursing, 70 Bachelor of Arts Degrees, 80 Bache- lor of Science Degrees, 12 Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Degrees, and 18 Master of Education Degrees granted.
