X, N u , ' -:Q - AH Well, the year of 1954-55 found us back at good old Coast Union High. This year we were high and mighty Juniors and had a great deal to do. There was the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet in May, which was quite a big job. We just seem to have inherited the task. This year the theme was Fantasy Land . Our other activities consisted of food sales, which were always a suc- cess, a dance on February 25th, and the Junior Play which was plenty of fun for everyone. At play practices we got together at students' homes to dis- cuss the play, entitled The Daffy Dills , which was scheduled for March. We also sold school autograph books to the student body. While selecting our class rings we got into great excitement, but finally chose gold with black onyx stones, called the American Beauty . Now that the year is over we are all a little wis er one way or another. We all hope to be able to come back next year as even mightier Seniors than we were Juniors. We hope to return from summer vacation for our last school days, at least the last for some of us, and to graduate from Coast Union High School. Farewell to the Seniors of this year and may they always have good fortune. As for the other students, we hope to see all of them next year.
