SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY We, the Sophomores, entered Coalton High School as Freshmen with an enrollment of fifty-three members and with Mr. Geiner as our sponsor. Our class officers for that year were: Clyde Goff, President Joan Ross, Vice-President Marie Brosehort, Secretary Richard George, Treasurer Phyllis Silvestcr, Cheerleader Jerry Harvey, Council Member We also chose Gold and Blue for our class colors and UThe road of education leeds to success,n for our motto. During the year our social activities consisted of 1 two famous hamburger fries et Roosevelt Park and a :less party in the gymnasium. At Ghristmos time our room was judged the most attractively decorated one in the room decorating contest Bobby Loudin and Joan Ross represented our class on the Student Council. :lv-'A FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY We, the Freshman Class of 1950, entered Coalton High School in September with an enrollment of forty- fivo members. ' We elected the following class offlcersz Robert Carter, President 1 Franklin Marco, Vice-President Ann Saffel, Secretary Janice Corley, Treasurer D , Magdaline Silveeter and Gerald Helmick, Cheerleaders Wanda Thomason, Class councilman Janice Corley and Magdaline Silvester represented our class on tho Student Council. Magdaline Silvester and Jeanette Thacker were our cheerleaders. The following Freshman boys were on the Junior High basketball-team: Frankie Bertell, Guy Travise, Paul Shannon, Glenn Lee, Franklin Marco, Bill Loudin, Robert Kisnor, Jearl Taylor, Charles Herron, and Donald Fitzwater. Our class colors are Blue and white, and our . motto is WOnward to Succoss.W Mr. Gainor has been our Freshman sponsor.
