The sponsorship of a systematic series of assembly programs stands undoubtedly highest in this year's accomplishments. Through this, our student body was given the opportunity to hear several good speakers, much good drama and several good musical numbers. Much good school talent was discovered in the giving of our assembly programs, and much ggod experience was gained by those who participated the programs. In Cctober-November we sent two delegates Arlene Skidmore and Juanita Linger, to Jackson s Mill to the state Co-Government Association convention. They brought back to our student body very interesting reports of their experiences. Under the supervision of Rosie Nethken, chairman of the candy committee the Student Council has cleared to date aporoxlmately b45.00, Candy was sold every noon hour and at all home basketball games On March 31, we sponsored and took care of all arrangements incidental to the presentation by the West Virginia Wesleyan dramatic club of the play USuppressed Desires', under the direction of Mr. John Do Shavers Other projects such as clearing up of proper channels for having class parties was successfully handled by our student council this year, Projects under consideration are magazine selling campaign, commencement activities, and spring social activities.
