class cheerleader and also one of the High School cheerleaders, won the cheerleader trophy at the Sectional Tournament held in Elkins, we also held a class party May 4 at the home of Mr. Martin. We are regresented on the Student Council by three girls, Ar one Skidmore, Juanita Linger and Anna Mae Marco, and the Honor Society by one, Arlene Skidmore. We were also represented on the Basketball sguad by three of our boys, Tony Ross, Ronald Jones and ohn Hollen. We look forward to a great Senior year in 1950-51. S O P H O M O R E C L A S S We, the sophomores, entered Coalton High School as freshmen in l9H8 with an enrollment of thirty-three. Our class officers for that year were: Bill Goddin, Presidcntg John Johnson, Vice-president, Joan Thacker, Secretary, Charles Girard, Treasurerg and Frances Boss, Cheer-leader. We wish to thank our sponsor, Mr. Stalnaker, for making that year a bright and successful One 4 We came back to school the next year as Sophomores with an enrollment of thirty. Our officers for this year are: Marceline Ash, President, Frances Antolini, ice-president, Marie Roberts, Seoretaryg John Johnson, Treasurer, Joan Thacker, Council member,and Frances Ross, Cheer-leader. This year our boys and girls were very active in the class tournament, Two of our girls, Marceline Ash and Doris Weese have sorved on the Student Councili Our class colors are green and whiteg our class flower is the white rose, and our motto is HAlways finish what you startn.

F'R E S H M A N C L A S S We, the freshman class, entered Coalton High School in September l9H9 with an enrollment of fifty-three. Of these fifty-three members, forty-nine remain. During the year we had two social activities. We has a hamburger-fry in October and a party in December. Both were enjoyed by the class members and their guests. The freshman girls won the class tournament in 1950. Nine of our boys were on the junior high school basket ball squad, and two freshman girls were junior high cheer leaders. We were represented on the student council by Joan Ross and Bobby Loudin. The officers who served during our freshman year were! Clyde Goff, President' Joan Ross, ice-presidentg Marie Broschart, secretaryg Richard George, treasurerg Jerry Harvey, councilmang and Phyllis Silvester, cheer leader. Our class colors are gold and blue, we take this opportunity to thank Mr. Gainer, our sponsor, for helping to make our freshman year a successful one. ' 7TH-8TH GRADES The seventh and eighth grades enrolled in Coalton High School on September 9, l9M9 with thirty three students of which twelve were in the seventh and twenty-one in the eighth grades, During the month of September the class was organized with the following officers: Robert Carter, President Nike Ross, Vice-president Magdalene Silvester, Secretary-Treasurer Before the winter weather arrived, we had a party in the ngymn on October 12, l9h9, .
