Crossing the threshold of our Alma Mater for the first time in l945, we were guided through the ceremonies of Freshman Week - and we began to learn the meaning of humility. Our second year brought us closer to feeling the great vitality of the school's manifold activities as we began cautiously to participate in Football, Basketball, Oratory, Band, Journalism, Drama, and a host of other interests. Now we were a large part of that vital thing which has become known as The Tiger Spirit.
