As We Begin . . During three years of our training in Coaldale High School, our nation was bearing the heavy cross of war. Only a few of the members of our class participated in the war, in service. However, all of us are partici- pating in the peace that has followed victory. We, the Class of 1946, are ready and willing to do all that we can to pay our debt of gratitude to those who effected this peace. ln the record of our activities which follows, we have tried to show the adequate preparation that has been given us to enter our new lives.
