The students take the teachers into their confidence with personal problernsg this is possible because of the teach- ers' interest in our welfare. The teachers are advisors to the classes and are often requested to give advice not only to the classes, but to the members of the classes as Well. Thus, every teacher is reqarded not only as an educator but as a friend and confidant.

Treasurer The Student Cooperative Association was organized for the purpose of creating cooperation among the students and between the student body and the faculty, and to educate the students in self-government. That it has suc- ceeded is shown beyond doubt by the tact that, the S. C. A. now chooses its own professional assembly programs, conducts intra-murals, and purchases educational and recreational movies. The S. C. A. has also decided many questions originating from students concerning school government. Other projects ot the S. C. A. during the past year were: the Freshman Reception, sales at varsity games, football programs, dances, and the minstrel.
