Q573QHmc P-wpkeaf The jUDl0T a d senlor classes of 1957 have made enough money through out the year to take a trip arou d the world with their sponsor, M Earl Coats Their first stop was in London, En land, where they met hdlliam Coats His main occupat1on is embalming, but he devotes much of his spare time to sc1ent1f1c work Going to Ireland, they saw the yacht, WThe Arbottle Cricket,W owned by Frances Hurst, who is still searchlng for those far away places Taking a plane to Paris, France, they were instructed by the hostess, Joh ie Mae Llnt n, to fasten thelr safety belts and smoke only cigarettes Making a forced landlng in a field near a farm house, they found Jolene Sandlln, who appeared 1n the door of the house She is an unmarried art1st, whose famous portralt of Bobby Joe hangs in the Art Museu in Paris They were told that Reba Hardgrave, a retlred model for the French Bathing Suit Company, lived only three miles from Jolene There they met the Rear Admlral Kenneth EL Byrd and h1s wife, formerly B llie Ann Bowman, taking thelr little covey of birds for a walk in the sun They continued their voyage on the 'Queen Mary' and were cordially greeted by Captain Bob Westwood, whose goal had been to sail the seas. ur Coats, having purchased a 'Gaze At Itn newspaper from the steward, sees an item announcing that Sara Jo Wall has d ed her ha1r red and 18 play1ng basketball with the All Am8T1C3D Redheads He notices an advertisement-Webb Sews and lends Everything-owned and operated by lr and M s Ken Webb Mrs lbbb is the former Mbttr1e Morris, an excellent seamstress has just secured her flfth divorce and 18 being courted by the crooner, Dave Phelps, who has just f1nished the recordlng of 'Move the Well Closer to the House, Mother, So I Wbn't Have to Drive M self to DT1Dken The second item is that Sarah Nelle Taylor has replaced Dorthy Dix w1th her column of 'Advice to the Lovelorn W Her slogan is 'Why get stuck w1th something like I got? Take your pick ofthe Men ' At San Francisco they attended a 'hot rod' race, starring Joyce Ed Hurst, the world's champ1on WHot Rod Racer Continulng the1r tour, they went to the Orange Bowl football stadlum, where everyone was cheer1ng because U C L A had just won another victory Players were carry1ng the all star, Erich 'DuzZ19n Albat, on the1r shoulders Upon return1ng home, they found Marshall Chr1sman, a retired atomic bomb builder, employed as marshall He spends h1s tlme fishing and huntlng all1gators in Louisiana The tr1p comes to its close Each member of.he 'l95ln class has come 1nto the plcture and gradually faded away They will hold 1n their hearts forever the pleasures of the years spent together in Coal Hill High School I g e .
