CJ C Celebrates Thirty-four Years The saga of Coahoma Junior College was told during the college's first Founder's DayfDedication celebra- tion. Highlighting the ceremony was an address by Dr Margaret Seagears, Executive Director, White House In- itiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities As the college's past and present accomplishments were told, alumni, friends, and former administrators took note of how Coahoma is continuing to live up to its im- age of being The College That Cares. When the program came to a close, Dr. Martin ex- tended thanks to the many alumni, friends, and local, state, and national officials for coming. With music pro- vided by the CJC-AHS Faculty Choir, the program end- ed with everyone spiritedly singing the Alma Mater. On the opposite page: Dr. Lenora Cole-Alexander, Director of Women's Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor, and Dr. Seagears conduct a mini seminar prior to the progam.
