Greetings , A significant milestone in the history of Coahoma Junior College and AHS was reached last year as the Junior college observed its 25th anniversary and the high school observed its 50th. The opening of the 1974 fall term marks the beginning of a new era of challenge, change, and service. The challenges must be met the changes must be brought about and the service must be rendered by students, faculty members and community leaders who are dedicated to excellence and who work together as a team. This togetherness leads to meaningful involvement: meaningful involvement leads to progress. It appears that the institution stands on the threshold of a bright and exciting future. New physical facilities are about to be erected . New curricula are being planned. The instructional staff is being constantly upgraded. Student services and student activities are to be expanded. Increased financial support from both the local and state levels is expected. As these developments come to pass, they will strengthen the position of CIC and AHS in the academic mainstream. l heartily welcome new and returning students, and I wish for each of you an educationally rewarding year. You can help the institution achieve its mission of service to the total community. Be loyal. Be studious. Be punctual. Be helpful. Be proud to be a Tiger! Respectfully yours, James E. Miller President I 1 tl, ttf lg 1 W IS' . V I ,-I'-'.,',i?'fjl4',' 451 tw x .gall .12 1 l I
