P6100 Students at Coahoma Jr. College and A.H.S, learn responsibility and self-dependence. Their lives are molded by many hands - the hands of teachers, the hands of administrators, the hands of parents. Some of our C.J.C. graduates are Senior College bound, some may terminate their edu- cation and descend on the business world, but no matter what the choice may be, their future lives are a direct result of their days at C.J.C. and knowledge gained from experiences here. Our 1968 Coahoman will depict some of these experiences in Learning For Leadership, is Title -------- - 1 Foreword and Contents - - 2 Theme ------- - 3 Dedication ------ - 4 Background For Learning - - - - 5 Campus --------- - 6 Administration and Faculty - - 9 Learning By Living ---- - 35 Learning Through Action - - - - 39 Learning Through Participation - - 114 Learning Through Personal Commitment ------ - 175 Leadership - - - - 180 Coahonnt 1 Staff - - 184 Alma Mater ---- - 189 Sophomore Directory - - 190 Patrons - - - - - - 198 su-I'

Qeofcafzbn - 11 4 ,J ', wh - . . In every school community there are a few men and women who, because of their at- tributes win the respect of their associates. We salute such a person in our 1968 Yearbook, You have spent long hours each year helping us to make our Yearbook - a thing of beauty and also to meet our deadline. You have used your creative talent to decorate our campusg to advertise our school on posters, signs and bulletin boards. You have helped us materially by selling tickets and policing our games. You have inspired students to major in art and use their creative talents to beautify and brighten their dull drab environments. You have been a real Coahoman. You have set an example of true Christian manhood by serving as soldier, civic leader, church officer and just plain laborer making an honest dollar - For all of these things and because we love you not only as teacher, but as a dear friend - We dedicate this 1968 Coahoman to you - Thomas W. Richardson, Ir., - Artist par excellence.
