BARBARA KELLY, Secretary REGISTRAR'S MESSAGE The responsibility of the Registrar's Office increases indirect proportion to the growth and age of the school. In viewingthese statistics, the reader is asked to look at the number of students for a particular year and at the same time look at how each year's enrollment adds to the total enrollment over the years. This will provide the mental picture necessary to evaluate the work as it is carried on in our office. The Registrar and his staff feel that there could be no better way to tell the growth story of Coahoma Junior College than by the statistics that appear below: SCHOOL YEAR NUMBER ENROLLED 1951-1952 41 1952-1953 117 1953-1954 167 1954 1955 212 1955-1956 240 1956 1957 229 1957-1958 213 1958-1959 201 1959-1960 293 1960-1961 343 1961-1962 400 1962-1963 419 1963-1964 478 1964-1965 527 1965-1966 727 McKinley C. L ,,,,, 97141112 czyoafs Wessaye Y- bs 'is 1-Q ,4V I am honored to congratulate the Annual Staff and their sponsors for another banner edition of the Coaho- man. Each year we look forward to its publication because of its inspiration and the vital role it will play in recording the history of our school. Too often, we wait too late to eygpress our appreciation to our co-workers for a job well done. Let the record show that I speak for hundreds and maybe a few thousand students who passed through the portals of CIC and AHS that we owe a debt of gratitude to Mrs. Zee Anderson Barron who has labored through the years to see that the Coahoman went to press, often under severe handicaps. Let every Coahoman consider: I-Iardwork, hard thinking, hard praying--these qualities distinguish a human being from a man. Look and you will see, listen and you will hear. With faith in human decency and dignity, there is no limit to your achievement. Frank McCune, Principal HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE STAFF L. to R.: Secretary Baggett, Coun- xp selor Hill, Secretary Childress and Student Clerk Nash
