In mat- ters purely academic the' Coahoma student has time and time again ranked among the finest of the fine. With each new achievement of excellence has come a broadened prestige and an increased pride. Also there has come a deepened. but humble. sense of responsibility to better fulfill the mission to which she is dedicated - the development of young minds. the instilling of ideals and attitudes, the awakening of aspirations. The fulfillment of this mission will mean that upon a glorious past shall be built an even more glorious future. From the first graduating class of 34 members in 1952 to the present class of nearly 150, the spirit of excellence which leads to victory has prevailed.
