Administrators at Clyde High School may sometimes play Behind- the-scene roles in the functioning of school life but their overall, genuine desire to know students as individuals often leads them into involvement in the campus life of the student. Coordinating the affairs of the high school, jr. high, and elementary, the administrative staff is necessary to make the wheels of Clyde go around. The object of the game is to keep up with peers, keep up grades, keep up attitudes, with the ultimate goal of becom- ing a winner. Because students are captive audiences for about 7 hours each day, teachers serve as manipulators of 320 lives. Using the latest teaching methodology, faculty members used group pro- jects and a great deal of concen- trated effort through individual- ized instruction to convey their subjects. Through achievement test scores, it has become appar- ent that teachers are generally successful in getting across the subject matter. Students who go on to college return to report rela- tively few problems in their courses, reflecting the good foun- dations they have received. gn- 17 of Life Bill Brown, Principal ' W' 17 - - - ...ag Coach Cranfill wastes no time in grading tests. 98 High School Faculty ' - NBII? 2 Alleen Briscoe, Secretary Chemistry love to wonder - ll that is the seed of our cience.
