An lLMl!0 !0 'ff ' 4 NIJ 1 uma TRACK TEAM The C.C.S. track team coached by ,T ack Hesslink had a fine 1955 spring season. They lost to Newark by scores of 32-30 and 51-38. They won a meet at Pal-Mac, 51-17 and in successive weeks lost to Mynderse Academy, Wayne Central, and Phelps. Wayne Central won the Wayne County meet with a total of 50 213 points. C.C.S. placed second with a total of 22f points, followed by North Rose with 19f points, and Pal-Mac with 14 113. In the Geneva Relays, seven members of the team ran in two of the relay races. Clyde placed fourth in the 220 yard relay. An extra honor for a relatively green team at Clyde was having two of its members run in the Section 5 Class B finals held in Rochester on June 5. They made their debut in last year's Sport Circus and planned on following through with an assembly this spring. Their success is not measured by wins and losses, but by the satisfaction derived from being able to coordinate one's body to function properly under extreme circum- stances.
